I LOVE fitness, but trust, it did not start out that way. I was not an athlete in high school. I went to the gym every once in a while in college, and after college. I could never get into working out, mainly because I didn’t know where to begin. That all changed when I turned 25. I became friends with a personal trainer who was a regular at the coffee shop I worked at, down the street from the gym where he trained. Every time he came in to get coffee, he would ask “Abbie, have you worked out today?” It took nearly a year of him asking until I finally booked a session.

We started completely from scratch. I was at a point where I did not love my body, which was creating a lot of self hate. Starting out, I only worked out with him one day a week for 30 minutes for about eight months. That is how long it took to gain strength and confidence to branch out. After those eight months of training, I started to attend a cardio dance class. It then took a year of taking that class and almost two years of me training for me to want more. My love for dance, combined with the support from my trainer, pushed me to get certified to teach a cardio dance class.

I taught cardio dance for almost three years, which led to teaching other forms of group fitness. Finally I got the nerve to become a personal trainer, and that has changed my life completely. I am happy and healthy. And now I have a platform to change others’ lives.

I’m successful because I’m relatable, honest, and meet clients where they are. Then we build up together. I understand all the excuses: “I’m tired from work,” “I don’t have the money,” “It’s raining outside and I don’t want to leave my house,” etc. Having someone in your corner to cheer you on will change your life. Check out my Success Stories page to see what my clients have to say about work with me.

I want to share with you my before and after pictures. I weigh the exact same in each picture; 145 pounds. There is roughly five years difference between the pictures. I’m not guaranteeing your timeline, but I know the results will come with consistency.
